I’ve switched my web analytics provider again! I moved from Plausible Analytics to Umami.
The main reason I switched was cost. Umami gives me all the features I want for free, saving me about $9 a month compared to Plausible. And if I ever want to self-host, Umami makes that easy too.
I’ve made my blog’s analytics public here.
Here are the analytics features I care about:
- Traffic over time
- Most popular pages
- Traffic sources
- Browser screen sizes
- 404 error tracking
Umami can do all of this and more, so I’m as happy as a clam!
